Youth for Peace, NCBL organized an inner school poem competition on "Youth Against Landmines" on 1 March, Treaty into Force Day.

Total 67 poems were presented by the students of 28 different schools. Ananda Dev Bhatta, Ishwor Ballav and Mod Nath "Parshrit" were the judge of the competition. Shekhar K.C. of Emerald High School was the 

first prize winner, Lorina Sthapit of Holy Land International School was second, Prabesh Paudel of Novel Academy was third and Chanchal Maharjan of Siddhartha Secondary School won as consolation prize. More than 200 audiences were present in the competition.
