Program for Conflict victim children
NCBL organized a picnic program on 29 May 2004 for the conflict victim children and children in Risk situation in Kathmandu. In that program all the entertaintment were focused on Mine Risk Education. In four groups the discussion was organize on the issue what is landmines and how to protect from it. Four group leaders presented after the discussion. The group leaders were:
1. Priya Maharjan- Ban Sewa Secondary School
2. Rashmi Gurung-Jaljala Secondary School
3. Sabina Adhikary-Shree Bishnu Devi Secondary School
4. Nitu Diwakar- Balaju School
Priya Maharjan received the first prize for the good presentation on the theme.
Among 115 children sponsered by NCBL/WODES, 19 children are studing in Kathamandu from different districts.
