Ban Landmines Campaign Nepal (NCBL) and Geneva Call joinlty organized one day National Seminar on Role of Nepal Communist Party (Maoists) in Mine Ban at Kathmandu on 25 June 2006. The chief guest Hon. Pradeep Gyawali Minister of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation and a Member of Government Peace Dialogue Team inaugurated the program. In that program Katherine Kramer, programme director for asia of Geneva Call; Purna Shova Chitrakar, NCBL coordinator; Hon. Hom Nath Dahal, member of Parliamentary and Monitoring Team; Yek Raj Bhandari, member of Peace Dialogue Team Facilitation Committee, Nepal Communist Pary (Maoists); Mr. Abunawas Maslamama, representative of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), Philippines; Kanak Mani Dixit, Head Editor of South Asia Guthi and Victims of Landmines/IEDs delivered their speeches.
